Meet Laura Virros, our new director of sales and account management

We are pleased to announce that Laura Virros, M.Sc. (Tech.), has joined us as our new  director of sales and account management and a member of our management team at the end of January. In her role, she is responsible for actively leveraging the market situation in the industry, as well as leading and developing sales and customer relations. Laura reports to CEO Tommi Salaspuro.

Laura brings extensive experience in business and account management. She has spent the last five years in the healthcare sector, most recently in sales at Terveystalo. Before transitioning to the healthcare sector, she worked in the technology industry, where she was responsible for developing new business and customer relationships, as well as initiating and leading international sales.

In recent years, Mediconsult's success in tenders for social care client information systems, home care and dental care information systems, and booking solutions for wellbeing services counties has positioned Mediconsult among the largest system suppliers for public administration organizations in Finland. According to North Patrol's Data Review, Mediconsult was the 17th largest public administration supplier in 2024 based on the calculated value of contracts.*

The Saga Social Care client information system, which meets national requirements and the needs of wellbeing services counties cost-effectively, has been selected by five wellbeing services counties. The implementation projects for Saga Social Care in these counties are well underway, and social care professionals in these regions will have access to the most modern information system on the market over the coming year.
